Passwords
We recommend you change your passwords frequently to help protect your information. If you are using a common password for your online banking or the same password for multiple online logins, we recommend you change it immediately to a new, complex password. Frequently changing passwords and unique, complex passwords are good security practices in general.
Account Monitoring
Please monitor your account often and immediately report any suspicious transactions to us (877-442-9846). Furthermore, be cautious of phishing scams (emails with malicious links) that will attempt to gain personal information from you.
As a reminder, Hawthorn Bank will never send you an email or text message asking for your PIN, password or card information.
